When she was just four years old, Katie walked into her grandmother’s antique shop, grabbed one of the books off the shelves, sat herself down, and told her grandmother that she was going to learn how to read.

And she quickly learned to do exactly that.

Born and raised in Michigan, Katie has had a love of storytelling for as long as she can remember. While working from home, she decided in 2017 that it was the year of the novel: she was going to sit down, put her ideas to paper, and finally get her stories completed for other people to enjoy.

When she became a full-time stay-at-home mom, it seemed there was no better time for her to get to it.

She lives with her husband, three children, three cats, and a bunch of chickens. She doesn’t sleep nearly enough. Coffee keeps her going. (In fact, you can support her by sending her a coffee here!)
